Sony is rolling out a new system software update for the PlayStation 4 tonight, bringing with it a handful of tweaks and refinements to the newly launched console.
On the PlayStation Blog, vice president of Sony Network Entertainment Eric Lempel details what's coming in version 1.51 of the PS4's system software.
"With this minor required update, stability of system software has been improved," Lempel says. "In addition, minor refinements to elements of the system UI (such as clearly indicating when a user downloads a game and a game patch at the same time) have been introduced."
In North America, PS4 systems in standby mode should automatically download the update by default.
Sony Computer Entertainment released version 1.50 of the PS4's system software a few days ahead of the console's launch on Nov. 15.
Update: The software update is live as of the morning of Nov. 20.
